2026 Women’s Unit

The women’s unit at Cardinia Storm Hockey Club is our inaugural women’s team, proudly established in 2023. Since launching, the squad has continued to grow in confidence, skill, and connection, building a strong and supportive playing group both on and off the field.
We currently compete in the Hockey Victoria Metro Competition, which is an ideal competition for players who are new to field hockey, returning after time away from the sport, or simply looking for a fun, social, and competitive team environment. The Metro format offers a great balance of development and match play, making it perfect for building skills while enjoying the game.
Our women’s program focuses on:
- A welcoming and inclusive team culture
- Skill development at all levels
- Fitness and game understanding
- Enjoyment, teamwork, and community connection
